I know, I have new front shocks waiting to go on. Do you know if the if the front strut will come out from the suspension if you remove the bottom bolt and top bolts from it? I had a look at it yesterday and could not decide if there was enough room. Usually there's no problem with this job but there's a lot more to the 928 front suspension than most cars.
Hi

Yes it will come out, I watched Paul A do it on mine to change a bottom shocker bush, he undid the suspension mounts and arms to the caliper and tucked them up out of the way, then undid the top and bottom mounts and out came the whole strut...
It took HIM about 5 minutes lol.......it would have taken me around an hour I think...and he was using a ramp which makes it easier to access...
Dont forget you will need spring compressors to remove the spring and change the shock...and if its a later car dont change the position of the base that the spring sits in as its also the height adjuster... unles you adjust BOTH the same amount....
Hope this helps

All the best Brett
