My 944 requires 2 front wings. I intend to try and fit them myself .just want to know if its a hard or simple task that could be done over the weekend at home.it has had sills in the past and on the surface the shell is looks sound.any advice would be great

Not too difficult but it can be problematic trying to find the screws inside the wing (on the forward facing part of the bulkhead) that have possibly been covered with underseal.

The ABS pump (if fitted) inside the RH wing can be an arse to get past too.

You need to be careful releasing the wing as it is 'glued' with mastic as well as screwed - it can be quite gooey and sticky and you can bend the wing if you're not careful.

By coincidence MAC is selling a rolling shell which has been photographed without its RH wing on - you can see the ABS pump there and also the bulkhead where the wing is screwed ...
