Fitted a new middle exhaust box this morning (£25.00 delivered from Eblag). It took longer to get the car high enough to work on it than it took to actually fit the exhaust. I was quite surprised how heavy the whole system was

This has been said about the 944 system. The genuine system does seem to last a very long time but Lord it is heavy!
As for me, I have simply been driving mine after sorting a couple of the MOT gremlins (N/S Headlight aim a little high, lazy handbrake (adjusting it and attempting to deglaze the shoes seems to have improved the handbrake no end (The car was not driven for quite some time over winter) along with the tyres worn to the legal limit on the front.
Yesterday I had some new Michelin Pilot Sport 3s fitted onto the 944. The reports between these and the PS2s seem to vary wherever you ask, but on first impressions the PS3s have yet to fail in impressing me. Wet weather handling is great with these however

Furthermore, the ClubSport steering wheel has been sold to a fellow member with the car being back on its oblong wheel. Initially I missed the ClubSport wheel for the reasons others have said in the thread but the thinner Lozenge wheel certainly aids in giving the car a more classic feel. We shall see if I go for a Momo replacement or simply stick with what I have.
I spent quite a bit of time in the 944 travelling from place to place, only to bump into a similar 944 in my town! This was a late S2 specified as my Turbo would have been from the factory (bar maybe my car having slightly wider D90s). It was interesting to see the two cars side by side, and how mine looked (IMO) quite different with the Cup 1s and lowered ride height. Which look do I prefer? In these poor photos it is hard to tell!:
