Looks really stuning.
Are they a DIY job or professionally done.
Thinking of trying to strip back the lacquer on my cookie cutters but wasn't sure if best to leave it to the pro's.
If DIY, What products have you used to get the finish?

Patience, nitro moz, scotchbrite pads, skinny masking tape, solvol autosoland black paint. It took 3 mornings, but the other three shouldn't take as long, and would like to have it ready for sunday's trip to Gmund.

Lacquer doesn't usually stick to polished alloy too well and you soon finish up with white corrosion where water has got underneath it.

Nice one Gary, glad to see you have finished the centres. The wheels looked very good yesterday.

If you are going to take up burglary, now is the time to do it before your finger prints grow back

Yes Simon I have no finger prints left, and I have had the rims done for 4 years now. All I do is clean them with autosol and wax them over, got caught in the snow on the A1 yesterday and they come up alright.

last time i had some polished ones done they were stove enamelled with a clear coat i think...
