wheel options for 924-944 suspension swap

Post by Matt924lux »

I was thinking of upgrading the suspension on my 924 to 944 spec (have found donor car for suspension) and was wandering what wheels to use. I was thinking of 16 inch Fuchs or 16 or 17 inch Cup 1s? Any other ideas for wheels? What sort of widths would be suitable (thinking 6 or 7 front and 7or 8 rear)? Also what tyres would anyone recomend for these wheels?

I think that 8s won't fit under the arches.

See what size the Lodge championship boys are running. With the power of a 924 no point in going to wide it will only slow you down

Be aware their are 2 specs for 944 suspension.Pre 86 & post 86 or ABS suspension. Massive difference in wheel offset required.
