Hi there - new 944S2 owner

Post by swg911 »

Hi everyone, new member here.

I recently bought my first ever 944 (S2 Cabrio, black with black leather). It's got 71K on the clock but needs some TLC and I've already got myself a "to do" to keep me busy during the winter:-

LCD clock repair (completed)
Leaking washer tank (replacement bought from woolies wokshop)
Change the roof to manual mode
Radio reception - I think the booster is missing!
Freshen up the paint - I'd like to keep it original where possible
Deep clean the interior

The more time I spend with her the longer the list seems to get, all part of the pleasure of ownership I guess :-)

I think I've bought the twin.
Can't post pic. Says too big.
But mines a RHD, black S2, G reg cab aswell.

Are we allowed to ask how much?

Welcome 944driver,

Let's not compare prices as inevitably one of us will be disappointed :D

I initially struggled to upload pictures but if you try saving them as .jpg format you should be OK.

Haha that's true. But then I'm quite used to paying too much for old cars. Lol.
I think I've just arranged a swap deal for a Humber sceptre.
Tbh, I think I'm losing about a grand in it but then it is for the fun not the finance! Lol

I think ours could be production line twins though. Can we check Vin numbers or something?

I paid £14k for mine, 64k on the clock full PSH. That should give you a ball park figure.
