I've posted the excat same post in the "911 Aircooled" forum and got lots of interesting comments, its now the "Classic" boys turn !!
I'm looking to buy my first Porsche (after having a 25 year love affair with VW's - Karmann Ghia's) and am stuck between a 71 Targa or a 993 !!!!
Please help me decide !!!

Boy, you couldn't get two more diffrent 911s to compare if you tried.
the only way your going to know which one is right for you is to test drive. you also need to think about what you are going to use this car for. eg, will it be a all year around every day car? will it be garaged ?
