the joint is an integral part of the arm, only the boot might be replaceable

a new arm is the only real option 996 347 131 04 £78.25 inc vat

Thanks I will check out the part number. I'm worried about the "top hat" shaped bit...is it part of the arm or a bush out of the hub ? I will need to get it off to fit a new track rod end. No pictures ever show the "top hat"..except my picture of a used one ? It looks like the track rod is a standard tapered shaft..and this bush is separate ?? can't budge theh damn thing though !!! Cheers

I do have to agree with you, looking at PET there is no big fat rubber bit, looking at the pictures of the spindle/Hub assembley i cannot see that bit on there either.

Its steel and I am guessing it's not meant to come out of the hub assembly. I assume it "strengthens" the alloy of the steering arm but its a tough bit to get off the track rod end...I will soak overnight and have another go. Cheers

Still can’t see it as a spare part, which means to me it’s not supposed to come out
