Electric window switch surround in leather

There is a piece of leather surrounding the electric window switches on the 996 - 997 door cards, my drivers side one looks like someone has clawed at it for years with very long finger nails, its the only leather part of the car with significant damage. Does anyone know if this part is removable separate to the rest of the door card, and am i likely to find one in good nick on ebay? were the 997.1 and .2 the same here?

A little googling makes me thing its removable but it looks like the leather ones aren't stock, if i remember what i found when i read the options codes, my 997 has an extended leather pack option which it is probably part of. no doubt it would be pricey to replace...
