Use the usual suspects fo search for B&Bs in the forest itself or stay locally in Southampton.

Personally, I usually camp in the forest (well, in a camp site) along with a few others.
Works out much cheaper as I usually stay 2 or 3 nights and it's always a good laugh

For those making a weekend of it, we (Mr Wagg) has booked Anderwood for Saturday 2nd June.

We will host a picnic and have booked a jazz band to give it that garden party atmosphere. Space is limited, the details on how to book will be published in the February issue of All Torque. :)

This will be our first Beaulieu , tickets already purchased . It looks like parking spaces / areas are not allocated , so will there be a club meet and convoy ?

Some regions/groups meet up and drive in together, convoys are pretty tricky when you are in amongst a thousand plus cars all trying to get through the same pair of gates.

A few groups are planning to meet at Rownhams services on the M3. There must have been close to 100 Porsches in the car park last year.

Hi Sean,

Is there any more information about the Simply Porsche Picnic apart from what is in All Torque?

I've had people ask me directly after they have emailed the club office and are waiting a reply.

I'm sure it's in hand.

Mmmm :dontknow:

Everyone that has emailed Club Office about the picnic has had a reply with an invite which includes a map of the venue and timings. I have had a steady stream of bookings throughout the week, so I know that the email address is working.

Let me have the names and I will check the list, nothing in Spam either as I have been checking that daily.

Looks great,

A great place to go for the day anyhow.

Not been to a simply Porsche before but been to the motorbike event and last time there was lots of Audi TT's which we looked around.

Fingers crossed for the weather.

You were on the list, apologies for not replying.
A simple resend would have sufficed and it did.

I also asked for the names of anyone that thought they had been missed, you could have replied to that note :? :?

Thanks Sean for the quick reply. To be honest I have been so busy lately that I only saw this post this evening and not the one about the resend, anyway all good now and looking forward to it :)
