He's found it again.. But possibly worried now that someone will ram him off the road and perform a citizens arrest on him.

Its been found by the Police and is being towed to their compound.

Keep your fingers crossed for him that it is not damaged
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it

Glad to know he's having his motor back, I sincerely hope all is OK with it.

I remember having a car stollen years ago, mid seventies, from Peterborough railway station, used to travel to London daily.

It was a really nice, modified Mini Cooper S. Had a phone call about a week later from the Coventry Constabulary saying they had it, but it wasn't roadworthy, no brakes?

Off I went with my pal, plus a boot full of kit to sort the brakes out on the weekend, not really knowing what I'd find. To my horror, my immaculate pride and joy looked shit, the B------s had hand painted the bonnet and boot lids Matt black, with splashes of paint on the wings, both front and rear had suffered some damage. In talking with the police they had apprehended the thieves during a car chase which ended in a collision, hence the damage. I was totally deflated, but we managed to repair the brakes and I drove the car home.

My relationship with this car was over, even after all was replaced and brought back to immaculate again, it sold to the first person that viewed it.

It's really strange I still feel violated by this incident after all those years.
