So I've been driving the 997.2 for a little while now, put a few thousand on the clock. Changed the summer wheels for winters. Had it up on the jack. Cleaned it, 2 bucket style,a few times.
And realised I still know freaking nothing about the car or how to look after it - I'd like to get to the point I'm able to put it up on jack stands and really understand how to clean it properly with all the wheels off, what preventative maintenance to do, how to deal with rust spots, how to check everything is ok and aligned well... I've never looked after a car before, so really coming from scratch.
I figured three choices... a book or the interwebs - practical but dull. paying for a full detail somewhere they'll let me tag along or help out, to observe the aesthetic care... bt still not exactly sociable. Or maybe finding some meets somewhere that are open to total noobs trying to learn how to look after things.
Any ideas?
Cheers

My Group, South East London North Kent do a detailing day once or twice a year & in 2015 will be doing a session with a professional outfit, whereabouts are you?
