Cabs Targas Boxsters Speedsters meet - Tuesday eve 1st July

This Summer, Thames Valley region's monthly meets have a featured model or group of models.

July's meeting on Tuesday 1st is all about the open top motoring.

Cabriolets, Targas, Boxsters, Spyders and Speedsters are all encouraged to join us for some good food, banter and a wee drink on a warm summers evening

All regions and non members are welcome to come along

The last three of our Summer meets have had a good turnout with some very nice cars on display,
So we hope to have some great topless models on show ;0)

We will be there from 6:30pm til 10:30pm ish

Sadly no Targas, 944 Cabs or Speedsters but another great line up for our featured model meets.

With 5 of our regulars away this month and my car off the road, this could have been a disappointing meeting.
Fear not young Skywalker, The Force is strong in these parts.

at 7:15 there were just a lonely pair of Boxsters and a newbie in his 996 C4S but then they started to arrive.
Henry turned up a a stunning Black 997 Turbo cab, then a Fab Guards Red 3.2 cab, more 986's, 987's and a shiny new 981,
Then a splendid white Boxster Spyder joined the party

The guy with the new 981 had gone into OPC Reading to buy a 5 year old Cayman they had and came out with their Boxster demonstrator, he is totally smitten.

Great to meet those who came along for the first time, looks like another two will be signing up.
Thanks to Barry for bringing along a newbie and for putting up with the Rolf Harris banter, hope you didn't go home and shave off the beard

All in there were around 18/19 cars, not bad with 6 cars away

Very much looking forward to next months Specials night

"Specials" sounds fun Jason.....shame our 924 needs an engine re-build and is not a road legal car, could have been up for that!

Yeah would have been good to see it.
Specials is anything other than the Std car, Turbos, GT2/3 , Club Sports, RS's, widebody variants, race or track cars or personal modifications

I was hoping to attend but having spent a weekend with your 924 my cab decided it needed rear wheel bearings and the primary shaft bearing replacing so it's gone to hospital - in the warmest driest period of the year -
