I was planning a trip to the highlands for a nice blast..stopping at Onich for the night. Sat 06.00 I went to fill up, petrol flap was locked, tried the remote, it did not work! The remote was working it's self recently, had a new battery fitted last week and was working fine but not now! so in frustration I stabbed at the interior locking button on dash in an attempt to open the petrol flap, must have hit it a bit hard, the button shot through into the dash where I could not get it working.. I ended up taking the Seat....
So it looks like removing the dash to put locking button back, is it a hard job?
Where would be the best place to get the remote on key checked? auto electrician? key specialist? or god forbid Porsche dealer:) I assume it is the key or could it be the sensor in car?

does the switch surround not just unclip? dont think you need to remove the whole dash?
