Looking at a set of Boxster s 17"alloys on ebay, question is will they fit straight on to my 944 s2?

If it is the same as thie one in the pic, you'll probably need spacers on the front. I had some on a 944S2, but had to put 6mm spacers on. The clearnces were fine, but it was something to do with the centre bore profile and the shape of the 944 hub IIRC which meant the wheel had to be pulled out slightly.
