Southern Region BBQ in The New Forest Sunday 11th August

Post by hotblack944 »

Please come and join us for our annual BBQ at the beautiful Anderwood site in the New Forest on Sunday 11th August from 12:00.

If you can produce a valid TIPEC membership card at the gate, entry is free!

If you cannot produce a valid TIPEC membership card at the gate, you'll still be very welcome, but there will be a small charge of £5 per car, which will entitle you to enter your car in the Visitor’s Trophy competition, judged by guests at the BBQ.

Jon from http://www.jmgporsche.co.uk is once again generously providing all the food and drink. There will be no charge for food this year.

Spend your money instead on our raffle in support of our region and Cancer Research UK. If you wish to bring a prize along to donate to the raffle, please do so.

See you all there :D

Thanks guys for the welcome and your hospitality, we had a great afternoon in relaxed and friendly surroundings.

Great to meet everyone and hope to see you again soon.

Boys were well chuffed with the raffle prizes, the tent has been up in the garden already!

We'll try and to reciprocate soon.

Sorry I didn't take pics but there should be loads from others!

Gina and I echo Paul's comments.

This was the first TIPEC event attended with my 911 3.2 and there was another one there just like mine (white, whale tale and shark fins). It was good to compare notes with the owner (Ian) and his wife. It was also good to meet some fresh Porsche enthusiasts from outside of our region (Thames Valley)
My rides: 02 Boxster S - perfect in many ways although mine has been likened to Trigger's Broom; 1988 911 3.2 Sport - so much feel and character, a challenge to drive well, a flawed diamond in many ways, but every journey is an occasion

Al, off topic but I've just noticed the last statement in your signature, very amusing now!

The car is superb, can't believe you managed to keep that quiet for so long!

Signature revised now!

It was a strain keeping it quiet for a couple of weeks, but fun surprising you and Jason!
