No. THANK YOU! I have been using this forum for nearly 4 years and it has been invaluable! I keep forgetting that I haven't ever joined and when someone posts that they have just joined up a wave of guilt comes over me and then I forget again  Anyway my wife has just asked what I want for christmas and needless to say I have asked her to write to santa and ask for a TIPEC membership :D
I feel like most of you are friends that I haven't yet met and when I have my membership I will make an effort and attend some events and meets. Good luck for the future and long may you continue. Cheers :occasion5:

Well done chaps!

Time has flown!

I remember over ten years ago the TIPEC Yahoo group and of course some fond memories of the characters from back then, who remembers the controversial Adrian-J and his 944 S2 he called "sweet 16"

Then the club moved to Chris kendals Porsche-1 net, which I never thought worked and the club seemed to be an annex of the forums there.

What we have here is just as it should be. Well done chaps!

Although the mash with Porsche-1 net was not a perfect marriage. Chris Kenward's support helped the club enormously by allowing us access via P-1. We had no e presence other than the very quiet Yahoo Group and a poor looking website.

P-1 might still be around today if the Club had not piggy backed it and changed its profile. A lot of the original P-1 guys drifted off to other forums.

When we had sufficient funds to rebuild the website, having our own forum bolted on was the right thing to do. We de-merged, again with Chris's support and the offer of help whenever we needed it.

Been a good 5 years, good to have the separate identity of the club.

The Yahoo thing I just couldn't get on with.

I enjoyed those P1 days I have to say but as with everything times change and things move on.

Here's to the next 5!

5 Years I didn't realise it was that long. Thanks to Jim T for all his hardwark behind the scenes on this. Porscha-1 .net was good which is where I came in as a member. Yahoo groups is normally pants for this sort of thing.

Was around during the P-1 days, and on balance I thought it was a good forum, well it convinced me to join Tipec! and I do miss some of the guys on there, its a shame that all the good guys did not migrate over. This forum during the FIVE years since its inception, has grown into a stable, reliable, and enjoyable place to be..................so thank you Jim , Sean, Jim, and the guys behind the scene for all their hard work................but most of all thank YOU, the members, for without you we would have nothing

I lurked here for a good while before joining, and then waited even longer before joining the club. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have joined had it not been for the forum. I've enjoyed the banter and the information I've received. :D

I hope we have many happy years to come. :D

Without this forum my car would have been a total disaster. As it was I kept it for 5 years & had a lot of fun for the same cost as running a Mondeo. Relative peanuts. Thank you!
