Watched that on iplayer last night as well.

Very interesting..

Went to see Skyfall at the weekend, and it was good to see the DB5 again, as well as some other loose ends tied up in the plot of the new bond, which is really almost like a timewarp to the early days of Bond's career in a modern setting.

Only problem with that top gear thing is that I was very iffy about the new bond, apart from it filled in blanks about Bond's early career.

However, I always had the old Bond films in high regard and "this Mr Craig is not a proper bond!".. however, seeing topgear last night and the old bonds, my rose tinted glasses are off... the old films, even the Piers Brosnon ones are just sooooo dated, and not in a good way!

One thing that was amazing, was the AMC doing the roll over the broken bridge.... Done in one take?? Was simulated in computer modeling?? in the 1970's... and the driver was not even the stuntman, but a mechanic on the set as the stuntman had lost his bottle and buggered off!!!!

Amazing!
Clean it, wax it, love it, ENJOY it... then fix it

I went to see Skyfall on Wednesday, it was OK, entertaining I guess but I'm not sure the story line was all that.

I also watched catch up TV for the Top Gear James Bond cars last night, erm...other than feeling like they are advertising for thiefs to steal classic cars (especially after Hammond stated that due to their age, they are not steal proof like modern cars) I'm not sure what the point of that was. I'm worried now and I want to protect my 944 turbo.
