Rollcage

Post by 964russ »

As you may have seen my car has a rear cage fitted, ive just got a front section of fleabay.
Question is do i fit it?
Ive placed it in place an it makes an allready small car even smaller, i like the look, the road racer look is awesome!
But ill have to ditch the door pockets and sun visors, and all thou its safer in 1 respect in the other that big steel tube runs v close to your head, probably fine with a lid on but on the road :?

I thought long and hard about fitting a full cage to the 68, but in the end decided against it for this very reason. I think on the road with no lid on it just has the potential to cause a bigger problem than it solves.

Different matter on track with lid and full harness of course. :D

Is it weld in or a bolt in? If bolt in you could just fit for track days.
