EBC brake pads

I have been using EBC pads for a while I have tried the standard ones , yellow & recently red. I use my car (996) mostly on the track. when I used the reds (yesterday for the first time) they completely destroyed the disks (all 4). My disks are standard Porsche disks for this car. I will have to go back to using the yellows which dont affect the disks in the same way.

Only problem with the yellowness is that I only get 2 or 3 track days before they need changing. so my question is - does anyone have any suggestions on pads/disk combinations that could give me a longer life for the pads? (less track days not an option!)
