In this day and age I think people have been de-sensitised to bad langauge.

Personally, I found the dirty little monkey picking his nose more shocking - that's absolutely gross. :pottytrain5:

Personally i dont think it is bad language for the sake of it, I like the whole concept of the idea of a mute version of tourettes, I realise this would probably be exihibited more in the motor tick elememt of the condition but I just thinnk it is funny, particularly the kids face looking so earnest.

Actually I really dont find any language offensive, just the context it is used in is sometimes inappropriate.

If I hadn't read lots of your posts before, I could almost swear you've taken my post seriously. I'm with you, I nearly wet myself when I saw it. That reminds me, I must book that appointment at the docs for my weak bladder

Is Tourette an esoteric word ? I havn't heard it before and I'm educated!

Tou.rette's syndrome n [Georges Gille de la Tourette d. 1904 Fr. physician] (1970): a rare disease characterized by involuntary tics and by uncontrollable verbalization involving esp. echolalia and the use of obscene language--called also Tourette syndrome

echo.la.lia n [NL] (ca. 1885): the often pathological repetition of what is said by other people as if echoing them -- echo.lal.ic adj
