Windscreen Replacement
The windscreen rubbers come away on my 996 and waters got into the laminate, so looks like i need a new windscreen, its covered on my insurance, but not sure if i can claim for this, any ideas?

Ring and tell them its damaged, or if you are with a firm who uses one of the major windscreen firms you call them direct, tell them its damaged, well it is after all, and they are not going to turn down business are they. My screen had loads of little dinks in it, plus a little delamination at the bottom, I phoned my insurers told them about the dinks and they sanctioned the change without hesitation, plus after lots of discussion on this forum and PCGB , I was advised to get a 'Porsche' screen fitted, not a generic, and that cost loads more, insurance firm were fine about it.
