VDO speedo for a 911 SC

Post by tim309 »

I'm looking for a MPH VDO speedo for a 1979/80 911 SC Targa. The current one is working except that it is calibrated only in KPH. I'm looking to either source a replacement or if possible replace the front calibrated dial marking. I don't actually know if that's possible but I'm sure if it's been done before someone may know.
So unless a dial replacement is possible does anyone have an SC in bits with an electric speedo they'd like to part with then plase get in touch.

All advice is welcome
Thanks
Tim

Why don't you buy coloured dial faces which should be calibrated in MPH like these http://www.porscheshop.co.uk/acatalog/p ... _kits.html
