18" wheel swap. For 16" or 17"

Post by t3rra »

Iv got some 18" antera 5 spoke wheels, 8j fronts 10j rears been refurb, front right is slighty marked/curbed this is only lacquer deep. They have coloured ome caps As well.

Currently fitted with 225/40/18 bridgestone runflats on the front one part worn, about 5mm other is brand new done about 200 miles so far.

Rears got polite sports run flats 255/35/18 inside eage is worn. Got some 265/40/18 poilte sports slightly larger then oem. But got 5mm

Fittment been fine, fill the arches nicely. But after stiffen up the suspension with poly bushes and gaz coil overs. The ride is now very stiff, runflats and 18" rim also add 2 the stiffness. Which was an improvement with the standard suspension set up. But a bit harsh now.

Iv tried some d90 today and like how the car ride was soften at the tires but still stiff at the cassy. And the lighter wheels.

Will add some pics later
So I'm thinking off going 4 some 16" wheels
Zermatt 88 944 turbo
Augtronic ecu&map
3071gtx/0.63tial V band/38mm Dpw
3" fastroad exhaust
80lb injectors
Stage2 intercooler
Apexi ebc.
9xx quick shift/ front shift/fuel pump
M030 brakes/Coilovers/30mm front roll
18" JARA cups 225F/285R
