Is that a direct loom for the headlights that I see there, with the nearby fuses? If so I take it that fitting new wiring throughout is a step too far even for this resto?

Yes just the eBay direct kit but I modified it, you can see further back in the thread
The engine harness has been refurbished all new connectors and insulation bug that's about it
I love your seats Ken. Thank you for the stainless rings btw they fit a treat although the fans have not made it back into place yet as I have other issues with the car.

Sorry, but we have all had such an emotional buy-in to this remarkable build. I feel like I might cry if it goes out and gets seriously used on a wet day. Maybe I am just suffering from the muddy roads and lanes around here in Norfolk during the winter beet harvest, but the thought of this car ever going out and getting thrashed upsets me!

it is a problem I was in two minds whether or not to sell it when complete as I don't want to get it dirty , but the car will be like new when finished so needs to be driven

In all honesty I think it will actually be better than new. factory workers do not put the care into their work in the way you have... and I say that with respect to all production line workers everywhere, even the best lines, they are doing a different thing..
