I wish I had a garage

I am renting space in a local car dealers showroom which is not being used at the moment......I can only get access in the week and 3 hrs at weekends........
and I've scratched to tailgate glass

had an expert out but they recon it can not be polished out.......Autoglass have quoted £700 for a new one less than I expected...

Should be able to get a decent hatch glass (working HRW etc) for £50.
They were £800+ in about 1982 when I worked for an insurance broker and a client shut his with his golf clubs in the way!

Lost 1st and 2nd gears on Sunday! Got home without them no problem - the 2.7 has loads of torque!

Had a spare linkage, which I've been playing with to reduce the slop, so 1/2 hour and it was fixed

OUCH!

......I would not know where to start fixing that
Mine is a bridge spoiler ...which I beleive will not fit the early glass

.....someone correct me if I'm wrong

Great thread this with fantastic work on the cars, would be nice to see them in the flesh.
Just sent all the fixings / brackets from may engine bay off to be plated, inlet manifold is off and waiting paint and a nice shiny exhaust is waiting to go on.
Keep the pics coming.
