Popped out of retirement to say that your car looks amazing. 8) Happy Birthday. Dam I miss my 944.

Dirty hands...remember the thread is "more pictures please" :lol: ....if your it doing let us all watch :D

Wheels arrived back today :D :D sorry the photo's are bad I need to photograph them in the daylight ......not a first choice of colour for a black car but I like them......what do think :?: got another day off tomorrow to fit the other door, wheels, mirrors etc ...getting there slowly

kongs... i can do cars, bikes trucks and boats... useless with computers!!! ill see if chris m will stick them up for me,(his is the next one)....dont think it will be a patch on yours though! cheers for the ideas...i like tele,s my self but the d90,s do look good...mmmm...more££££££!!!! took the head lining out completely wrecked ..hate water leaks...need to make repair panels for the rear 1/4 s too...oh and bottom of wings...and ther's the rattly torque tube too..........and i'm sure there will be other issues ....hmmm march ?

If i can learn how to do cars ...then I'm sure you can learn how to upload a picture :D

had another day off today fitted the wheels and the passenger door.....and I'm told my bonnet is ready to be collected so getting somewhere at last :D .....

I wish I had a garage :( I am renting space in a local car dealers showroom which is not being used at the moment......I can only get access in the week and 3 hrs at weekends........

and I've scratched to tailgate glass :( had an expert out but they recon it can not be polished out.......Autoglass have quoted £700 for a new one less than I expected...

Should be able to get a decent hatch glass (working HRW etc) for £50.

They were £800+ in about 1982 when I worked for an insurance broker and a client shut his with his golf clubs in the way! :shock:

Lost 1st and 2nd gears on Sunday! Got home without them no problem - the 2.7 has loads of torque!

Had a spare linkage, which I've been playing with to reduce the slop, so 1/2 hour and it was fixed

OUCH! :( ......I would not know where to start fixing that :lol:

Mine is a bridge spoiler ...which I beleive will not fit the early glass :( .....someone correct me if I'm wrong

Great thread this with fantastic work on the cars, would be nice to see them in the flesh.

Just sent all the fixings / brackets from may engine bay off to be plated, inlet manifold is off and waiting paint and a nice shiny exhaust is waiting to go on.

Keep the pics coming.

Rich it would be nice to see some pictures of yours too :D
there is a great thread on renn list some guy has stripped his engine bay and plated everything ......it is my next job :D ....after tailgate,bonnet,suspension :lol: ...ooh and windows :lol:

OK OWN UP......WHO WAS IT :x

hired a van got up at 6.00am to drive to Douglas Valley Breakers to buy a 968 tailgate...got there someone beat me to it.....must be someone on here.........

But the good news got my bonnet back from the painters....very shinney its had the full surface processing treatment then primmed and sound deadening paint applied :D
