Today I parked my car on some grass.

Apart from the rules of the track day banning timing, it is also tricky to do as there are other cars out there so you just end up getting frustrated trying to chase a time.

I just enjoy getting to the push the car and find out more about it and I don't worry about the times.

Also if I have the roof out the whole time then I can still see an improvement in my times anyway!

OK apologises for all the pictures of my car but I just received these from the detailer....bearing in mind my car was re-painted 12 months ago I thought I had really good paint .........but look at the before and after pictures what a difference........the paint was also sealed with the g tec stuff it is really good just wash and go NO polish No rapid detailer ........I have to admit that I was scepitcal about spending a chunk of money for a good clean :? but it is one of the best investments I have made well pleased :D

New paint is very soft, I was really hard push 2 wash the car and. It scratch it in the possess, and my process was long and caring.

But I am wondering just how your car got so bad, there's washing a black car and washing a car. I understand these scratches are hard 2 see with the eye in normally light. I'm surprised the camera pick them up.

My friends dad had longlife or some auto gylm after care package on a brand new white scrroco and I wouldn't let him wash my car, due 2 his technique, but his car is wash every week and is spotless. And scratch free. Left me thinking I should off had it done after my resprary. Added up the cleaning cloths, waxes and time.

After painting the car it was not touched for 1 month so the paint would harden, I cleaned it very carefully, and as anyone who has seen the car allways commented on how good the paint was, it looked perfect when it went to the detailers I started to think I was wasting my money but it was on my to do list, so I did it, and I'm glad I did......the coating that has been applied seems very good I have cleaned the car several times and it still has that wet look shine, I use the car most days so I expect it to wear, black looks great but I would not change, the maintance and cleaning is a challenge, now with the coating it is so much easier
