Nice

I always find it odd how Pentax aren't really one of the main brands but have always produced solid cameras over the decades I think. Looks a nice compact shape the KR
Did you wear your old SLR out btw?

No, not worn out, should be good for 100k clicks only a third of the way, but for 25 years with the company they give you a present.....
I have had Pentaxs since about 1980, when I bought a 110 Auto system (SLR, proper interchangeable lenses including zoom etc, but used the 110 film cassettes, so tiny!) Great for motorcycling yachting etc as small enough the keep in a pocket. Kept that till I went digital with a Fuji about 2003. Did have a Pentax ME and MX for a bit. The k-m is great and has got me back into taking snaps again!

I want to move the headlight sideways so I guess I need to add some shims on the wing side.....my question is, are the fixing bolts accessed under the wing?

Keep the turbo...with prices rising tell the wife its an investment
I sold my 911 sse for £15K....only had 29k miles.....saw one advertised the other day for £30K with 60k on it.......gutted
My car will not be complete...still engine, suspension, wheels and a few minor thing's like rear seat belts etc to do but it's looking OK and drives well
I'm on my 4th set of wheels and still not happy ..I've done silver D90...Black D90..black silver Speedlines.....Anthracite D90 now I'm back to silver D90......
I'm definately going to order the custom Fuchs

should have done this in the first place

Oh nice one, glad you can still get all these bits still. Was the bill for it all scary?
Is anything on your car not going to be new by the time you're done?

Seeing all these new parts going on Ken,s car reminds me of someone else!
We must nearly have identical OPC invoices

Hope to be able to it one day
Ken any chance of posting pics with the different wheels on? I have changed mine recently to D90's from sport design's and am to happy with the look

inside the cabin everything is new or replaced except the rear seat and swiches ..including seat belts, headlining trim panels, carpets seat covers the plastic bits cost me £160 for everything .....
Still need to get new rear seat belt buckles.....
I am very happy with the inside
Externally and mechanically it is not complete, I want to drop it 25mm..... but then I think if I do that I will want a full geo check.....but if I do that I will want to replace all the bushes......but if i do that I want to powdercoat and plate the rear suspension....if i do that then good time to replace all the fuel lines...if I do that new fuel pump, filter etc...if I do that etc
It drives me MAD
seriously I have to do the following to be happy
Clean and re-plate all engine bits
geo set up and new bushes (maybe KW V3)
get rid of the AFM...fit MAF or MAP
I have tried black/Anthracite/silver D90 and speedlines I do not like any of them, I want FUCHS I am negociating with a few companies in the states that will take the original centres and make any offset or size also considering the Paul Stephens ones ...these will be the next big purchase
No matter how much you spend end of the day its only a 944

but I like 944's
don't know if I have pic's but will have a look
