Hi all, been advised due to some cracks in the walls of my tyres I could do with some new ones. Also they are budget tyres so do wish to replace soon ish. Currently I have 215/60/15 on all four wheels. They look nice enough but is this the correct size? What do most people have? Many thanks,

Hi Phil,

there is a nice list of porsche recommended tyres for classics. Check the link below.

http://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesan ... 01-classic

For some reason there is no 15 inch tyres for 944 in UK list but I've used 924 one.

Porsche recommends the following:
195/65/R15 - Pirelli P6000
195/65/R15 - Dunlop SP Sport FastResponce
215/60/R15 - Pirelli P6000

I've used the second option and got them off web shop for £55 each not a long time ago.

Hope this helps.

cheers, Yuriy

Very helpful thanks. One question though, the 195/65 tyres, I assume they are a thicker tyre wall? My current ones fill out the wheel arch a fair bit already in depth. The 195/65 are a fair bit cheaper though so they look like the better option. I like the thick tread on the 215's though so am thinking the 195's would look skinny.
