I saw this over on RR. Nice to see something truly original, and it works too. 8)

Not so much today but over the past few weeks:

Top End Rebuild and new HG, all new valves and guides, machined and refitted, new belts etc.
Injectors cleaned and rebuilt
New Radiator
Lightweight flywheel taken out for modifications
Fitted Recaro Pole Position seats (Part Leather part Alcantara)
New Hatch Seal

And just bought some M030 Calipers and spindles/hubs, haven't received them yet but picture from seller.

Few Pictures:

If you don't mind me asking where did you get the cylinder head work done, I need some work doing on my S2 and have struggled to find somewhere?

I use Cliff @ Project nine down in Kent, he uses a machinist near him, probably a bit far to go for you! I'd ask your local indy who they use?

Not quite, I got them here: http://www.recaro-seats.co.uk/racing-seats/pole-position-abe.php.

Quoted price is £730 a seat and £70 - £100 a side mount. As I had 968 Comfort seats they bolted straight to those runners.

Fitted my recently acquired burgundy club sport wheel, must admit it feels much nicer, didn't know if I would like the thicker wheel but wish I'd done it sooner now, inspires confidence!

Will post a pic up over the weekend.

Noticed some belt whine (sounds like I have a supercharger) but as best I can tell there has been no alteration to the cam or balance belt tension. The alternator belt does appear loose though so fingers crossed its that! Will re tension that tomorrow :)

My alternator belt was noisy when I first started the car after doing the belts/tensioners, after the fiddle to set the balancer belt correctly I had set the alternator belt a little loose.

I've got one in burgundy too! 8) I love it, always liked the look of the Porsche lozenge wheel but always felt it was too skinny so the club sport is just spot on

Yup. After 4 years of thinking I wouldn't like the cs wheel I absolutely love it!

Stripped down my sticking boot latches this morning for a good clean out, they were all gunked up with grease and debris. All working perfect now after some fun getting them aligned again! Must get new rear hatch struts now to complete the "pop open on press button" experience! Also sorted a heater vent that had went limp by cannibilising a lovely burgundy replacement I had got that had 2 broken lugs that I only noticed after I took the old one out. I ended up just replacing the vertical fins which didn't help then the little black joiny rod thing that holds the horizontal fins together and in line. This turned out to be the weak link!
