Delivery

Post by forge197 »

Not sure if anyone else on the forum is keen on detailing, but I attended a machine polishing introduction last week and my delivery of additional things to try has arrived as well as some additional Zymol wax to also try that I bought privately.

Now need a dry day to play and try this out on mrsforge car before my car arrives :)

Ive gone for a DA, on the training we tried around 3 or 4 types of machines from flex, cyc, rupes, DA and rotary.

Also for a machine polisher beginner less damage is possible, although still possible it's safer using a DA, I will see how I get on and if good then maybe progress to a rotary.

Looking forward to combining this training with my previous training I did 1-2-1 with a Zymol detailer.

I am now though obsessed with swirl marks :)

I must admit they annoy me, especially on the 4S. I still haven't polished properly in nearly 4 years of owning her

It's all about the washing technique.

I had taken a break from detailing but now back into it, have lots of new products to compliment my older products.

The whole swirl removal is new to me as a process and I have also been trailing some of the sealant products too.

I've been doing this on our Countryman hence I've not posted up and reviews of products when I detail the Porsche I will post something up in this section.
