Any linen door cards that would fit an S2 Jon?

Will look into it in the morning, I know I have a full set of front and rear cards in linnen leather effect, with 10 speaker option. Open to offers, but sought after so, don't be too low ball with the offer.

If it is the same as a 924 or 944, then we will have for sure, if its 911 specific I will have to check.

Hi Jon :)

Once you are settled in to the new place, will you be having a "house warming" do ? Barbeque etc ?

All the best Brett :)

We do indeed have a set of 968 17" Cup 2's, genuine, straight and the proper ones from a 968, price will not be an absolute bargain, but open to reasonable offers.

Hi Jon, I left a pm for you but as no reply assume you have either not received it or prefer offers to be made in this domain.

If the wheels are all straight with no serious kerbing my offer is £300.

Cheers

Sirion

Hello Jon,
I'm after the black rubber trim that runs the length of the rear bumper for an S2.
Mine is suffering visually from corroded trim fixings so it no longer fits flush to the bumper unit on a rear corner.

Do you have a spare unused one (in or out of the packaging) that I could make an offer on?

Or, do you have an unmarked & perfectly flush fitting used trim piece that's either currently attached to a bumper or has previously been taken off?

If you have a separated trim piece I'm happy to have it without the fixings although if you have good un-corroded fixings to go with it I will have those too.

If perfect ones are only still attached to rear bumpers, would you be prepared to separate and just sell me the trim?
I would consider buying the whole bumper unit if you say 'no'!
Not fussed about bumper unit colour as it's just the trim I want, but a top notch White bumper unit with unmarked, perfectly flush fitting rear trim & no evidence of corroded trim fixings would mean I can do a straight swap and for that I'll make my highest offer!

Let me know what you have.
Thanks
Mark

Hello Jon,
Further to my request for a rear rubber bumper trim for an S2, I've realised that trim part comes with an integral metal strip on the back which has fixed metal studs on it. Therefore, any rear bumper trim part you have would need to have that metal strip (in very good/perfect condition) for the trim to be mountable.
I'm sure you knew that anyway but sorry for any confusion caused in my original request! I hope you'll be able to find something.
Mark

Hi, sorry PM activity has been a bit manic and what with the activity on this thread, I have had to draw up a list of who has offered what, what parts we have checked we have, what is remaining to be found etc... a bit of a logistical nightmare.

But, we are getting there, so sorry to anyone who is waiting for replies and formal requests for payment and confirmation of shipping etc..

For a set of Genuine set of 17" Cup-2 wheels in 7.5J and 9J (968 sizes), as much as I want to accept offers in here, I think the offer is a bit too low to accept.

However, in the spirit of the thread, I want to make sure everyone feels they have had a bit of a bargain, so I have an idea...

I will start a thread in the 924/944/968 area and poll the membership as to what they think a set of these wheels are worth. I will also tomorrow post up some pictures of the wheels... this way we can get a feel for what they are worth, and then, I will let you have them for an amount that seems reasonable but still a good bargain price.. Hows that sound?

Hi Jon, I don't know why it's disappeared I've already typed this once!

The bits I need are as follows:

Front air guide for s2/turbo.
Front bumper washer jet splitter/y piece, mine has cracked.
Black plastic dash trim by the steering wheel right side with the switch holes and grill, must not have extra or immobiliser holes.
944 oval dash cig lighter, the one with the mushroom shaped plastic pusher with a perfect symbol (only interested if perfect, preferably new to be honest)
Rain gutter rail seals (thin little black seals) 2 of new please.
Linen Vinyl/Leather rear seat base (just the base) in perfect condition to replace mine with a blemish
1 D90 alloy centre cap, any condition as long as solid enough to respray.

if you want to let me know how much you want posted to Yorkshire then I'll sort you payment out, just pop a PM over if it's easier, I'd stick my paypal addy up here to send an invoice to but not sure that isn't why the last post disappeared.

Many thanks!

Thanks Jon, I await the responses with interest.

The reason I went in at this offer price is not knowing condition and if they require a refurb. Also I have bought several sets of 17'' genuine Porsche wheels over the last 12 months (Boxster and 996) and these ranged from £140 to £325 a set on ebay with tyres (although I do realise that 968 Cup 2s tend to fetch reasonable money if in good fettle).

Let me know when you have had a chance to consider the opinions of other forum members.

Cheers for now :D

Where are you moving to ... towards me I hope not further away ( :D )

Hey, remember me for that 928 seat without the electrics ... no idea on how mucy - you tell me.
Helga needs a service soon, and her air con! - when will you be all sorted?

Hi Jon,

Would you happen to have a set of late offset 16" Teledials?

If not I'll keep an eye on the 17" Cup 1 price debate on the other post & may settle for my 2nd choice!

Thanks

Alan.

Moving ever so slightly closer to you, Ferndown, so maybe shaving about 8 miles off your journey to us. Hopefully we will be in there in about 2 to 3 months. Will see if I can sort you out a 928 seat, if so, for you, its free.

Always a pleasure to see both yourself and Helga!

Isnt that just typical... The rarest of the Teledials is the deep dish early 16" 86 ones... and I have two sets of those... Yet you ask me for the more common late ones that I don't have!!

Hi Jon,

It doesn't look like anyones made a silly offer for a LR dual port wastegate so here goes - 80 of her majestys finest English pounds for one to fit an 86 turbo.

Too silly?
:D

Thanks,
Rik

Make it £150 all in (including shipping) and you (or anyone else) have a deal.

Worth mentioning we have two of these, both have actually only got a few hours dyno testing on them and are in great condition.

However also worth noting that following the dyno testing, I decided that I was not a fan of them. As they are based on a standard used wastegate which is blasted and modified with a dual port top, they are no where near as a Tial DPW, let alone of one our reworked Tial dual port wastegates.

If you want a Lindsay Wastegate, they represent really great value (we paid £600 each for them).
