My interior lights and door guard lights do not go off as they should when you close the doors. I have removed, cleaned and checked wiring at the 2 door switches and no change. Strange thing is when I remove both door switches and isolate wiring from earth the lights stay on. It must be getting its earth from somewhere? Is the luggage compartment open switch part of the release switch as I cannot find a separate switch anywhere:?

I seem to remember a story about the live and earth being swapped by mistake on a bulb, causing your symptoms. Have you changed the bulbs recently?

No bulb changes recently. I think I have a cable grounded somewhere or the boot switch is not operative. Checking it later. Thanks

Problem solved. Boot switch grounded when boot shut. As a temporary fix I have glued a piece of plastic to the end of the stricker thereby pushing the switch further in with boot closed. Problem solved :D Thank guys
