Hi there

A set of A/C compressor seals has possibly become available ,Can anyone tell me the part number
of the seal set for a 1983s?

Looking at PET (parts catalogue) for 87-91 the seals are not listed as available separately from the compressor.

You can download searchable pdf of full catalogue for your model year for free from Porsche site (classics section). It's invaluable if you are working in your car, or even just supplying parts to mechanic to do the work.

Hi guys, Had a LONG!! look at the Pet link and as said I dont think they are listed there ,The set I was looking at is on ebay starting at a pound and I thought they might come in handy but I will leave them for now !

I've just looked the details on that rad I bought. I paid £333+vat with free shipping back in April 2011.

Unfortunately though I've just looked on their website and they've now put the price up to £367+vat+p&p which comes to £450 the same as what you've been quoted (maybe its the same place you've already looked at ?) > http://www.carcooling.co.uk/catalog/Porsche_928_78-1007-1.html

However this company is just a re-seller - they just import the rads from Adrad in Australia.

You could try contacting this company directly? I bet they sell the same part for $250.
