Brett, after going to Byfleet about a month ago, ive got a list lol. Most of the things on it are stupid, but i will make my way through them.
By the way the mercanic that i paid to do the work never did some of the jobs :-( so i should of done them myself.
All the very best Mark

Hi Mark :)

To be honest its better to do the jobs yourself as at least you know they are done correctly :)
Most of us have "lists" of jobs to do on our 928s its a matter of priority which jobs get done first lol, as the list rarely ever gets finished ...

Ask here if you need advice on how to do any jobs as between us we will have done most of them lol...

All the best Brett :)

I second that and I'm a girl! :? unless of course you really really really trust the Mechanic. I spent about £1300 getting my Headgasket and the turbo outlet exhaust replaced (which I paid for on top of this price) and I wish I had done it myself because the cam shaft oil seal should have been changed and I ended up with loads of other issues after that work was done

Oh and BTW, what is in Byfleet?

Kat, i sorted out most of my problems. If it had been my 280 Capri i would of done it all myself and ive got loads of spares.

Byfleet is a Porsche dealership that some of us met up at, they did a 111 point check of the cars.

All the best Mark
