The pub has good car parking. The pub has good food, both restaurant and bar menu are available. Large garden facilities are available and barbeques and pig roasts are available in the summer. A good time for all the family can be had .
The landlord is a nice guy and is more than pleased to have us there.
Distances are:
Salisbury 26
Poole 13
Bournemouth 18
Warminster 31
Yeovil 29
Weymouth 27
Shaftesbury 16
Sherborne 24
Swanage 25

Which is roughly fair for all the major towns.
The journey from any of these locations is all on major A roads and the last little bit is 3/4 mile on a good well surfaced B road the B 3082 (so good we thought it was an A road !)
I will be there to kick things off and I will buy the first person there a pint !!

big thanks to everyone who came along on Tuesday, I am sortiing the Portland run and i believe that Nick is looking into a Karting event. Did you know that for 25 people at 200 quid a head you can hire goodwood? I didnt nick told me !

How long is the straight at Goodwood he says innocently and if its a private hire are there noise limits ??

There are few level straight bits on the circuit, the longest is about 1/4 mile, and the grass Goodwood airstrip is not the best surface to control wheelspin! Noise limits probably vary with events.
