Has anyone had dealings with Justin Webb before? He has the website 944spares.com and sells on eBay using the user name carsolutions123.

He seemed like an enthusiast in his emails but I paid £80 for some bits of interior and sent him my working heater control panel a month ago now, I haven't had the parts from him and now he appears to be ignoring my emails and eBay messages.

He's based in HAZLEMERE, BUCKS.

Brought a few small items via eBay, all transactions have been good, maybe he is on holiday?
Hope you get it sorted

I have bought from him on eBay. Always good transactions but he can be slow answering questions!

He lives up the road from me. I sometimes see him in Sainsburys. All my dealings have been fine but I've not spoken to him for a while.

Had an email from him saying his father is very ill. So that explains it.

Unfortunately I'm having to revive this thread as I'm still outstanding a couple of bits from Justin Webb. To be fair he did tell me his father had passed away and I did leave him alone for quite some time, but he's been posting ebay auctions for over a month now, so he must be sending other peoples stuff out.

He did send me most of the stuff I paid for when I first posted this, but another 2 months on and after a number of emails and broken promises on his part, I still don't have everything.

So has anyone else had a problem with him and how did you get it resolved?

Tallguy if you see him in Sainsbury's again, tell him to send the last of my part please!

if you paid with PayPal just file a dispute, they nearly always side with the buyer.

Although I did pay with PayPal I sent the money as a gift to save him the fees. So I can't raise a dispute because as far as PayPal are concerned there were no goods exchanged.

I'll not be doing that again!

I bought a 944 wiper motor advertised as fully tested and working. When my mechanic put it in the car it very nearly set the car alight and was totally fubared long before I got it.

Needless to say emails etc etc got me no where......

I'm now on my second set of emails to all his accounts with no reply. I've also noticed that his eBay shop has been closed so I can see this ending well, especially if others have also had problems.

I have had problems with a window motor,I got the story about his father , took 3 weeks and when arrived it was not the one in the advert , which is still on ebay.-jwba2010 .
He uses different ebay names and when he gets neg feedback he changes.
Don't use in my opinion !

Nick

I think maybe we should add his new user name to the thread title.

Unknowinlgy I have recently bought a pair of rear quarter glass windows from him (via e bay), it took nearly 10 days to post and they were supposed to be sent recorded delivery but instead they arrived by standard parcels in a box with no packing materials

Only just seen this as I'm not a regular visitor here.

I saw Justin on Monday - he came round for a pair of my Lux clear front indicator lenses which he resells. He's supposed to be coming round on Friday for another set, so I'll make him aware of this thread.

I hope by drawing this to his attention will help you get your outstanding issues resolved.
