My front left wing has rotted in the usual place and I was considering getting a pair of GRP wings from Clubautosport. Any reason not to do this?
Ben..

It might make it harder to sell.

Some glass panels are a really poor fit.

Do they make them for the S2?

They do S2/Turbo wings for £110 plus the VAT. They also do a repair panel for the rotten bit but I'd rather replace the whole wing. I can't seem to find a price for steel wings. might ring porschapart.

A pattern wing (that may or may not fit too precisely) was £150 when I was looking and they don't come galvanised. A genuine Porsche one which should last another 15 years is £400

Only if you have it painted on the inside with that stonechip stuff that they painted the original with. I had a genuine Porsche galvanised front wing fitted to mine and even though it wasn't rotten, it had already started to rust at the bottom after only a couple of years.
