How about phoning one of the wedding car hire places in the Yellow Pages and asking them for a quote? Then you’ll know what a rough going rate is.

charge the price of a professional valet (i mean a real pro) that way if you need it doing after the costs are covered.

I used to on the odd occasion do this with an old triumph stag i had. If you get in to officially hiring out then insurance comes in to play. Do it as a gesture and not a business then you are ok !

Actually, hold on … it wasn’t Jen asking about this, was it? Because if so, I promise we wouldn’t stick anything to your lovely car … none of that shaving foam and tin cans nonsense!

Jen & I got engaged last week. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if she had started asking around for a 356 to deliver her to the wedding … not that we have a clue yet where we’ll be doing it!
