Hi there peeps
I've been browsing the 944 section of the forum for a while now (this forum always seems to answer my questions, according to Google
) and thought it was time to sign up and say hello.
I've been the owner of a 1982 944 Lux since April 2011 and use her on a daily basis to travel to work.
She's a bit tatty and needs some tlc but starts first time, every time
I know very little about cars (had a mechanic friend replace cam/balance shaft belts and the clutch) but I'm keen to learn (the real reason I bought the car) and love reading all of the informative threads on this forum
I'm currently driving around with just the driver's seat in after removing my nasty, filthy yellowy carpet and discovering a few water leaks (not uncommon from what I've read
).
I
will be asking lots of questions (be warned!).
