 Post subject: Dash change What to do while im in there?

Hi there,

I am going to change my dash from brown to black is there anything else I should check-out/do at the same time .My cruse control does not work and I believe that there are some vacuum pipes behind there that may need to be checked out ,Anything else??

Hi :)

How about your gear lights assuming its an auto.... do they all work ?

If not change them or at least change the green D light which wears out...

Hi there,, Gear lights !!! I don't think I have such luxury's on my car ,will look at all the pod lights though ,Thanks for the suggestion

Check the 2 dash connectors, these can be a source of alot of electrical gremlins

It is an auto ?? what year as I assumed all years of autos had the dash gear lights....R,P,2,3, D ??

Its an 83 plate, it has lights on the gear shifter plate thingy and its an auto Jezzy
