924s sunroof

Post by landywood »

the sunroof on my 924s will open and close but the arms will not retract to enable removal. Checked all relays, limit switches and console switch. Only fault I can find is that there is no voltage at terminal A on sunroof relay. Where is this terminal supplied from.

Thanks

Are you following the instructions correctly?

From my 944S2 Driver's manual -

1. Turn ignition switch to position 1 (radio) and press rear half of rocker switch until the actuators release the roof.

2. Undo front hinges.

3. Lift and remove roof.

To refit -

1, 2 and 3 tell you how to put it back in the hole.

4. Turn ignition switch to position 1 (radio) and press front halves of rocker switches (I've left the errors in - there's only one switch) until the actuators lock the roof.

Hi thanks for info. I am operating as you describe but I seem to be short of voltage at terminal A.
