Hi all, On my 4th Porsche but only recently found TIPEC, Have left the marque twice but returned - there is no substitute for a Porsche.
Each time i left the fold i though i wanted something different, something more - but i simply lost something each time.

25 years ago i had a Guards red 924, the brown checkered interior - i loved that, it was a great car and never had any trouble with it, got the remarkes as usual "Poor mans Porsche" "making up for a deficiency elsewhere" but i loved it.

12 years ago a Boxster 2.5, brilliant, 5 years with that and cost very little to maintain, traded in and got the 3.2S Boxster - lots of toys - but all this time i still had the same comments.

2 years ago moved to the Jaguar XF, 4.2 V8 - lovely car but just lacked that driver feeling, so -- A choice between the Fessa 360 or a 911 - had 4 cars to think about but rejected the continental Gt and the DB9 so down to 2.

the 360 must be the best looking car in the world but so fragile, servicing costs exhorbitant and not very practical, so the winner the 997.2 C2S - I am so pleased with this, the thrill of driving has returned.

So - hi to everyone, i do like to put my 2ps worth in, though sometimes controversial, and very thick skinned (or maybe just thick)

You have had an interesting mix of cars over the years. The 924 will become coveted over the next couple of years, good ones are becoming hard to find.
