Agree with Ben. You should be able to get one from Demon thieves if not Halfords. So long as the Boss is the right diameter to fit your wheel it's not a big deal to spot through the holes & drill & tap three new ones. Otherwise you might try to get just a boss from Porschapart as the wheels are often bent in accidents but the boss will survive! Have one of these myself.

Just be carefull as the original 968 boss is a 3 strap deformable item that is meant to flatten in an accident :blackeye:
Demon Theives or Halfrauds be fair :lol: :lol:

Thanks, yes agree re deformability. Preference is still to get a proper one if i can so will keep trawling the specialist yards and net.

A proper MOMO boss will also deform, I suspect the 968 wheel and boss are made by momo anyway. I have a cheap copy boss on mine and it's real nasty, I'd pay the extra £10 for a real momo in future..

Thanks for that. i agree. The wheel is original and comes form Italy according to the stamp on the back.
For info my S2 is a 1990 in guards red, fairly standard other than s/s exhaust. Had some paintwork done by an Aston specialist and it is brilliant, always gets comments form those who see it. Other than the wheel probably just upgrade the speakers a bit as it has a good hifi and possibly a few small touches here and there. Has anyone mad the leap to LED lighting in the dash instruments - just wondering if it is easy as standard lighting a bit dull.
Other motors include my PUG 607 HDI which works well despite high mileage, benefit being has all the toys and more for little money. Just taken in one of the new C4 Piccasso's which is exceptional although I wouldn't have paid the £28k on the road with its high spec of extras.

Found this on Ebay;

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-944-968-C ... dZViewItem

Might be of use if it goes cheap enough.

Yes please!!!Promise i won't bid against you. As an alternative, Douglas breakers have a complete assembly for £158 delivered including vat. i paid £200 just for the wheel without a boss on ebay. Fancy doing a deal on that one perhaps save bidding war? Would be happy to see what i could do if you like

I have learnt from watching prices on Ebay that it pays to check prices with the dealers first before bidding.
