I've noticed a few guys have had to sell their beloved Porsches because times are hard. Doesn't it pee you off then to see this sort of thing happening...

I can't believe their mentality - "the system allows us to do it, so we do". Well that doesn't mean it's right, DOES IT?????

In the extreme, the system allows you to buy a knive, take it home and stab someone. So that's OK then.

Agenda or not - it still pees people off.

It's from the Daily mail, but she told (sold) her story to one of those girly mags called Closer, and has been on breakfast TV bragging about it as well. Still, she'll get paid for both in one way or another, so that should affect the benefits.

Anyway I won't post anything else on this as not sure politics has place on this forum.

Post as much as you like, there are no politics here. Each is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't think one needs a newspaper of any brand to get peed off about stuff like this, or MP's expenses, or celebrities getting off speeding fines, or... etc etc.

There are just so many people like this taking advantage of the system, so common in fact we expect it - everytime you see on TV anyone who boasts 10 children or more - i think - "on benefits".
I know i am probably doing some people a disservice but usually i am right.

They did hit the nail on the head though in that the system is just too easy to work, perhaps the authorities need to take action, throw the parents out the house, remove all benefits and take the kids into care - as we are paying anyway to keep them the care system wont increase those costs by a great deal and it would send the right message to others like them, do the same also for the pregnant teenagers that want a house and also a proactive approach to check up on everyone who is on benefits and unemployed, oh yes - and make those that claim unemployment benefit work for that money doing jobs that aid the community.
