Wish I could put a picture on for what I need but then that would mean I have the bit i need? Its the steering wheel boss to which the wheel screws (ie 3 screws only) and then the wheel and boss assembly is bolted to the steering shaft.

Is this a Porsche wheel or another aftermarket wheel?

Its a genuine Porsche 968 CS wheel, which i think is the problem as there are only 3 mounting holes so I think the most likely solution is a 968 boss;trouble is Porsche only supply the boss AND wheel together.

Its the wiggly boss that sits behind the CS wheel, I am fitting a 75mm extension with longer bolts this W/End so I will take pictures for you

Thanks. That will give me a starting point. At least with it being wet I am not tempted to take mine out for a blast.....but there again, who can resist it!

I didn't realise that came off seperately

Mind you, I wasn't looking for it to come off as I was replacing the air bag wheel with it!

Looks like a standard momo boss with only 3 holes tapped in it. Either you could use a momo one and only use 3 screws if they are the same, or you may have to get them tapped up a couple of sizes. Take it to halfords and get them to show you any momo boss for any car w/o airbag and see if the holes line up. where abouts are you on the country?
