Hi All :)

Went back for my retest today and it passed ...yayyy :)

Mind you it should have done as on Monday I popped up to Paul Andersons, and we did the following, not all needed for MOT, but some jobs were overdue...

Brakes, Front and rear new discs, new front and rear pads, new handbrake shoes...and I cannot believe how little material was still left on them :(

We also reconditioned all my calipers and lift plates...

New (s/h) front spring, and front upper wish bone (bush too worn in old one)

Sorted out my fog lights (relay of course lol)

New front fog light glass (stone crack)

Passenger door central locking motor replaced , so all doors and windows/sunroof now close automatically on my remote (Clifford system)

New Bosch spoilered wiper blades and arms.

New exhaust hanger for my new design S4 type straight through box (Paul designs and sells)

Its nice to have REALLY good brakes again although you dont really feel the deteriation in your own until they are all replaced and are about 10 times better lol...

And finally ...stuck on my legal plates for MOT with velcro and it passed :) :) :)

All the best Brett :)

Well done, your car is unique and it's good to see you still want to spend money on it. Some people get bored of their projects. I hope that's it for a year though. :D

Nice one Brett

Mine is in for MOT next Thursday.

I deleted my rear fog-lights so had to remember to fit the temporary one!

Fingers crossed.

Ben

Hi Lee :)

Hopefully yes, apart from ongoing Nitrous costs lol :)

All the best Brett :)

Hi Adrian :)

I really had to do the brakes although not an MOT fail....

When Paul and I removed the front discs he said they were the thinnest discs he had EVER seen lol....must be the Nitrous stops....they were around 4.5 mm OVER whats allowed by skimming lol :)

Measuring them with Micrometers we thought there was around 1 to 1.5 mm left :(

All the best Brett :)
