I've got a loud rattling noise coming from the rear when stationary, which stops when I dip the clutch. Not much to go on I'm afraid, but would welcome any thoughts on what might be causing it.

All the gearboxes chatter like mad. Have you checked the oil level?

I will do Jim, thanks. I had the gearbox oil changed last service (about 1500 miles ago).
I'm getting an MOT and healthcheck at the OPC in a week or so. I'm just hoping there won't be any bad news.

Oil's fine and the rattle has stopped. Very strange.
