I am trying to ascertain the correct paint colour/code used on the 1977 924 Martini models in order to carry out some small paint remedials on mine, unfortunately the original paint label is missing on my car. It has always been understood, by me at least, that these cars were painted Grand Prix White, and this is confirmed in Peter Morgan's book on the 924. However in discussion with fellow Martini owners in the USA it is quite clear that their cars were painted Police White L93Z, an Audi/VW colour, and this is evidenced by original paint stickers and purchase invoices.

Does anyone have any conclusive evidence of the paint colour of the ROW Martini's, or is the GPW a myth, and the correct colour L93Z?

There should be a sticker on the inside front of the owners manual with paint and option codes, asuming you have the owners manual? Failing that i would have thought that if you contact Porsche themselves with your chassis number, they may be able to tell you? Hope you get somewhere with it, would be nice to see it as some shows.
